Tsugaru-Shamisen Toshihiko Sato

Sato is especially fond of , The Tsugaru shamisen , and traditional Japanese folk music (Minyo).
His concerts of this Traditional Japanese culture (the Tsugaru shamisen),has been held recently in Sapporo City as well as all over Hokkaido .
He also performs elsewhere in Japan , and overseas(Shanghai,Australia,New York,and Honolulu)
In 1998,he did a concert at Carnegie Hall in New York.
Sato is leading a school and has also started a Sato style shamisen association
